Welcome to Madison Cello Ensemble – Fall Semester 2024

Featuring weekly repertoire classes, chamber coaching, a contemporary ensembles

& special workshops with renowned guest clinicians !

 

Ensembles and Group classes begin September 9th and run through the Solstice Celebration on December 19th. 

Group Classes and Ensemble Rehearsals are held at MYArts at 1055 E. Miffin Steet on Tuesdays.

Community outreach and recitals are optional events.

MCE ensembles and classes include:

Weekly unique contemporary small cello ensembles

Weekly Suzuki Repertoire classes at age and experience level

Monthly workshops, community performances and guest clinicians 

Improvisation workshops

Mock auditions

Halloween and Solstice performances

Chamber music collaboration with Farley’s Music

Expert instruction and coaching

Fun and friendship with peers 

Community Service Outreach and Performances

Large group Cello Choir

Music and mindfulness, stress management and healthy movement for musicians

The last week of September and October are special workshops featuring guest clinicians for all cello students.  Cellists not enrolled in MCE classes are welcome!
